Lectric eBikes were founded in Phoenix, Arizona, by high school friends Levi Conlow and Robby Deziel in 2018.
Their main aim has always been to make e-biking accessible and available to those who perhaps previously couldn’t afford it. As a result, they currently specialize in cheap electric folding bikes, a sector that has grown exponentially in popularity over the past few years.
Their original design was voted the “Best Folding Electric Fat Tire Bike of 2020” at the Electric Bike Review Top Choice Awards.
The Lectric eBike philosophy is based on excellent customer service and delivering value to the customer. Their current crop of e-bikes are affordable, transportable, and come ready to ride. They also include a 1-year limited warranty on their bikes for your peace of mind and free delivery across the United States.
Although a relatively new company, Lectric eBikes have gone from strength to strength and are now a well-known e-bike brand in the US.
Lectric E-Bikes Model Range
Currently, Lectric eBikes produce three bikes: XP Lite, XP 2.0, and XPremium.
The bikes are all folding electric bikes, with very different specs and pricing. The Lectric XP 2.0 is their flagship model and is the second generation of their original Lectric XP bike. The XP 2.0 uses plus-sized tires, front suspension, and a full-equipped spec to create a comfortable, convenient, functional bike.
The Lectric XP Lite folding bike is the lighter and more compact version of the XP 2.0. This bike strips away the non-essentials, changes to smaller tires and electronics, and modifies the frame to be more compact for one of the best-priced and most portable e-bikes on the market.
Finally, the XPremium is Lectric’s answer to a high-end folding e-bike. A premium mid-drive motor, dual batteries, smooth folding, and a fully-equipped setup make this one of the most competitive folding bikes in the price range.
Each model is available in different color schemes, and the XP 2.0 has a step-over or step-through frame choice. Now, let’s take a look at each Lectric folding e-bike in more detail.
MSRP: $1,399 or $1,699
Lectric’s product lineup has recently been jazzed up with the introduction of the XPedition, a cargo electric bike with an impressive 450 lb payload capacity. It’s the perfect bike for individuals who want to haul all of their groceries in one trip or for businesses that need a reliable delivery vehicle.
The XPedition comes equipped with a powerful 750W (1310W peak) motor that can produce 85 Nm of torque without breaking a sweat, making it an ideal option for carrying heavy loads. The bike can operate in Classes 1, 2, and 3, so you can customize the settings to suit your needs.
Thanks to its dual-battery design, the XPedition can carry two 672 Wh batteries for a combined range of up to 150 miles, which means you won’t have to worry about running out of juice on long trips.
With its long rear rack that can carry up to 330 lbs, the XPedition can hold two child seats, two passenger seats, or a pair of panniers or cargo baskets. You can also add a front rack that can accommodate up to 35 lbs, so you’ll have plenty of room to carry everything.

Lectric XP Trike
Lectric has recently released the XP Trike, an affordable electric tricycle that features the brand’s iconic design and style.
The XP Trike is an extension of Lectric’s product line, offering an option for riders who want the added stability and comfort of a three-wheeled electric vehicle.
The XP Trike boasts a durable aluminum frame and folding mechanism that Lectric is famous for, but with the addition of a third wheel to increase stability and carrying capacity.
Individuals with balance issues or those who lack confidence on two wheels will appreciate the enhanced stability and security of an electric tricycle like the XP Trike. The trike can also carry up to 110 lb of cargo, with a total capacity of 415 lbs spread between its two baskets.
With small 20″ wheels and 2.6″ tires, the XP Trike may not be the most comfortable option for rough terrain. However, the addition of a seat with a backrest for only $30 can transform it into a comfortable cruiser.
The XP Trike features two hydraulic disc brakes for superior stopping power, as well as dual differential wheels powered by a 500W hub motor, which improves stability while turning.
If you’re in the market for an electric tricycle, the Lectric XP Trike offers excellent value for your money, providing stability, comfort, and convenience at an affordable price.
The Lectric XP 3.0
The new Lectric eBike XP 3.0 demonstrates the brand’s commitment to improving and offering affordable bikes.
Lectric has upgraded the XP 2.0’s torque, brakes, touchpoints, carrying capacity, and suspension without raising the price. Otherwise, it’s the same convenient folding bike that can be taken on public transport or stowed away at home or in the trunk of your car.
The new frame-integrated rear rack is compatible with a passenger package that allows you to utilize the 150lb capacity to give your friend or loved one a ride. In addition, you get an extra 10mph-limit passenger mode on the motor.
The brand offers standard and long-range versions of this bike, with 45-mile and 65-mile ranges, respectively. The battery also has a relatively short charge time of 4-6 hours.

The Lectric XP 2.0
The Lectric eBike XP 2.0 is a fantastic little electric bike.
It’s portable, as it’s a Lectric folding bike, and thus can be readily taken on public transport or stowed away in the boot of your car. The XP 2.0 is an upgraded version of their original XP bike and now comes with front suspension to soak up the bumps of the roads.
Other additions to the XP 2.0 include wider handlebars, which means riders now have space to mount their phones or other devices to their bars.

The brand also makes a step-thru frame version at the same price. This version also comes in two colors, white or black.
The Lectric XP Lite
The Lectric XP Lite is the new, more affordable alternative to the flagship XP 2.0.
This unique eBike maintains many of the same technologies and design concepts as the 2.0, except in a smaller, lighter, and more agile package.
Weight 46lbs, the XP Lite is perfect for carrying on public transport or storing at home. It uses the same durable and smooth folding mechanism to create a tiny 36 x 16 x 27″ folded package.
The motor chosen by Lectric is a 300W geared hub with five levels of pedal assistance and a half-twist throttle for operation. This motor pairs with a 374Wh battery to deliver 40+ miles of range and top speeds of 20mph (Class 2).
Other notable features of the Lectric XP Lite are the low-maintenance single-speed drivetrain, 20×2.4″ Chaoyang tires, mechanical disc brakes, and integrated LED lights. In addition, this electric bike is sold in four different color finishes and one frame size.

The electronics on this bike are extremely impressive for a sub-$2,000 bike. The motor is a 500W mid-drive that delivers buttery smooth power transfer, ideal for crushing hills and hauling cargo over huge distances.
The dual battery system and 7-speed drivetrain support this premium motor. Two 500Wh batteries provide incredible ranges of 100+ miles depending on whether you’re using the throttle or five levels of pedal assist.
Lectric includes powerful and precise hydraulic disc brakes, 80mm travel coil suspension, and 4″ Chaoyang fat tires to inspire confident and comfortable riding.

These include extra cargo racks, bike locks, headlights, saddles, batteries, etc. As well as accessories, they also sell parts such as tires, brake pads, and replacement chargers for when your bike needs a bit of TLC. Finally, Lectric also sells merchandise. While it’s not a sport-specific kit with sweat-wicking materials, their hoodies and shirts are suitable for e-bike riding and are reasonably priced.
